TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Payment and Refunds
Payment in full is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing by us.
Where a customer purchases an online course or other digital content as a consumer, they have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of purchase and receive a refund, provided that they have not accessed the course or digital content.
By accessing any part of the course or digital content, the customer expressly requests immediate access to the digital content and acknowledges that their right to cancel and receive a refund will end upon such access. Once course content has been accessed, no refund will be available except where required by law.
Where no course content has been accessed, refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase. No refunds will be available after 14 days from the date of purchase unless required by law.
Total fees become payable in full at the time of purchase, subject to any agreed instalment plan.
- Accuracy of Information
If requested, students must provide evidence of qualifications, experience or other information relevant to their enrolment. Any person found to have provided false, misleading or fraudulent information may have their enrolment cancelled and access terminated without refund.
- Course Participation
Students are responsible for completing course activities, assignments and assessments within any applicable deadlines. Failure to do so may affect progress, certification or eligibility for course completion.
- Corporate, In-House and Virtual Classroom Training
Where a bespoke training package is commissioned for delivery at a client location or via a live virtual classroom, we reserve the right to charge reasonable travel, accommodation, and other related out-of-pocket expenses, where applicable.
Cancellation of bespoke corporate training bookings is subject to the following terms:
- Less than seven days’ notice: no refund shall be payable.
- Between 7 days and 1 calendar month before the scheduled training date, 50% of the fees paid shall be refunded.
- One calendar month or more before the scheduled training date: no cancellation charge shall apply, and any fees paid shall be refunded in full.
We reserve the right to charge for any third-party costs or non-recoverable expenses already incurred in connection with the booking.
A booking may be rescheduled without charge where at least 14 days’ notice is provided. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for subsequent changes or for changes requested with shorter notice.
- Transfers and Course Changes
Requests to transfer enrolment from one course to another will be considered at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse transfer requests where substantial course content has already been accessed or completed.
- Pricing and Course Information
We reserve the right to alter prices, course content, course availability and any other particulars advertised on our website without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect purchases already completed.
- Access to Courses
Course access is granted to the registered purchaser only and must not be shared with any other person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that account sharing, unauthorised distribution of materials or other misuse has occurred.
- Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, downloads, assessments, documents and other content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Course materials are provided solely for the personal use of the registered learner and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, sold, sublicensed, shared or made available to any third party without our prior written consent.
- Liability
We accept no responsibility for interruptions to internet services, third-party platforms, equipment failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control which may affect access to our courses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
- Student Conduct
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any course where a student engages in abusive, unlawful, fraudulent or inappropriate conduct, or acts in a manner that may adversely affect our reputation, staff, systems or other learners.
No refund shall be payable where access is terminated for these reasons.
- Instalment Payments
Course fees may be paid by instalments, where agreed by us.
Any instalment arrangement does not affect the customer’s liability to pay the full agreed course fee. Failure to maintain agreed payments may result in suspension of access to course materials, assessments and certification until payments are brought up to date.
- Awarding Bodies
Where a course leads to a qualification or certification, the terms, conditions and regulations of the relevant awarding body or certification provider shall apply in addition to these terms and conditions.
- Acceptance of Terms
The act of purchasing, registering for, enrolling on or accessing any course constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Business Customers
Where courses or training services are purchased by a company, organisation or other business entity, VAT shall be added where applicable.
In the absence of any other agreed payment terms, all invoices are payable in full within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Contracting Entity
The contracting legal entity for all course purchases and training services is Training and Tutoring Limited (08585656), which manages bookings and sales for Microsoft Office Courses and related training products.
