During the last few years, many organisations have transitioned to Office 365. The reason for this transition is that organisations are keen to enable collaboration and working remotely. Microsoft Office 365 is the cloud-based version of Office 365, enabling people to work remotely and access their shared files in any location via the cloud.

What is Office 365?

Microsoft has launched Office 365 as the cloud-based version of Microsoft Office. This means that the programmes are accessed via the internet, and a physical installation on your computer is not required. All major software is trying to transition to the cloud, and you could encounter these cloud-based systems with other systems. This software includes many popular applications you would have used for years, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. and much newer apps, such as SharePoint.

With the launch of this software, Microsoft has made its applications more flexible and easier than before, especially concerning document processing, managing and sharing. It is the easiest to use among Microsoft’s packages. The software is the online version of Microsoft Office and enables remote working. Therefore, it has been widely adopted following COVID. Anyone looking for a job in an office environment will likely need to adapt to Office 365.
